Night for Notables – 2018 is proud to feature Pulitzer Prize winning author, Richard Ford as this year’s Night for Notables program speaker. Mr. Ford is an American novelist and short story writer. His best-known works are the novel The Sportscaster and its sequels, Independence Day, The Lay of the Land and Let Me B Frank With You, and the short story collection Rock Springs, which contains several widely anthologized stories.

Following the Notable Authors program with Richard Ford, this year’s Notable Authors will personally meet the evening’s guests at tables lining the beautiful Library of Michigan Rotunda. The authors and the evening’s renown speaker, Mr. Ford, will autograph books while conversing about their work. Guests will stroll around the Rotunda while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres, desserts and libations, stopping to meet with their favorite authors to enjoy lively conversations.
